A very pretty color of dark ruby, with a wide reddish rim.
Fruity on the nose with blackberries, blackcurrants, black cherries, wood, licorice, light vanilla, milk chocolates, pencil lead, earth, light vegetables and black pepper.
Full bodied with medium acidity and nice legs.
Dry on the palate with red currants, sweet cherries, toasted oak, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco, coffee, vegetables, earth and peppercorn.
Medium on the finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.
This is a nice surprise. A nice Cabernet Sauvignon from Italy. Easy drinking and spicy. Not very complex, but very enjoyable.
Needs 90 minutes to open up properly and balanced itself out.
A good everyday wine with a soft mouthfeel. Good by itself or with food.
