Very pretty color of purple with a wide purplish rim and medium plus intensity.

Strong nose of red and black fruits with light wood, chocolates, herbs, earth, tobacco leaf and red candy.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with raspberries, cherries, spices, light oak, licorice, chocolates, sweet tobacco and peppercorn.

Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.

This is an easy drinking Grenache from San Luis Obispo in California. Fruit forward and engaging, with nice complexity and a soft mouthfeel.

Good right out of the bottle and good by itself or with food.

Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years. Would be nice to revisit it in 3 years and see how it evolves.

This Single Vineyard Grenache is easy drinking, elegant and nicely balanced. Tangy and better with a light chill.

Paired nicely with hard cheeses.

A blend of 76% Grenache and 24% Syrah. Aged for 16 months in (40% new) French Oak barrels. A small production of only 1,200 bottles.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

90 points.
