Aug 4th, 2019Huet and Vega Sicilia are two storied producers with quality side projects in Tokaij. Vega Sicilia makes one that is supremely rich with laser acid and oak sturdy, expertly integrated. Sour notes of ripe lemons, the kind about to go black and turn to rock. And spiced ginger and popcorn kernels and vanilla spice. WOW.

May 6th, 2019Paired with a dorado mushroom broth soup. Nice compliment to the dish which had some complexities mellowed by the mushroom. Very unusual wine with sharp edges, minerality, cinnamon spice and a nice long finish.

Mar 7th, 2019Персико-сливочный аромат с нотками цитрусовых и оттенком солода. Кислотное, сухое напоминает рислинг, но с ярко абрикосо-персиковым вкусом, дополненным неким яблочно-солодовым послевкусием. Не могу избавится от привкуса виски с яблоками. Занятно, но не более того.
