PnP. Dark purple, almost black color. Blackberries, orange peels, and a smell from my youth I can’t place right now on the nose. Alcohol definitely present on the palate but nice texture with a meaty/Rhone flavor. Medium plus depth and long finish. Better than expected.

Still has plenty of runway. Not sure it has even peaked yet. Very nice surprise. All components have matured together and oak is integrated and in balance.

Starts cloying sweet. Burnt vanilla cotton candy. Overripe grapes. Kept sweet throughout the bottle. Pleasant to try, not my favorite.
