Bright mid Gold. Aromas indicate wood maturity and white flowers- some pineapple, oxidative notes and grilled nuts. Creamy palate with peach and skins bitterness. The oxidative nature of this wine makes it special but treads a fine line with this approach- no further cellaring required. The amazing thing about this Vineyard in Rueda (only 23 acres) is that many of the vines are still on their own rootstocks and predate phylloxera. Some vines are up to 180 years old. Drink now / low acid - quite delicious. One of the 1001 Wines.
