No idea why I put the Outpost with what will be our salmon fish cakes. We have Aubert in the mix for those.

Look up the noun consistency, and you’ll see a picture of this wine. Ripe fruits, broad-shouldered tannins, and bright acidity define the contours of this excellent cab. Finishes plush and exotic.

In a great spot. Complex, with great fruit/mineral/earth balance.

Nice and surprisingly approachable for such a young Howell Mountain Cabernet. Bright cherry with some sage and thyme.

It’s always better at the winery...especially when it is on the very top of Howell Mountain. Well worth the journey! This was Thomas Rivers Brown’s first winemaking assignment, and you can taste the passion! It is already deep and approachable, for such a young wine.
