This Barolo was so feminine and sexy that if it was in a @Bill Bender note you wouldn’t even notice the cleavage. Porcini mushrooms, tar, Burgundian elegance but Asian spice, so seductive... Yikes. At its apogee but sense this (from magnum) could go a long while.

So good.. In a great place, but lots more life ahead. Bright sweet cherry. Super supple.

Big, rich and delicious. Aromatics are just incredible. Oak is fully integrated. Lovely resiny, savory, cherry fruits. Long finish.

Jan 14th, 2021Absolutely beautiful. Translucent ruby red with garnet rim. Roses, baking spice, tobacco, red berries, silky but firm tannins. Great purity of fruit. Feels almost weightless. Still plenty of life. Wish I had more!
