Full bodied Zinfandel and Cabernet. Black cherry, pepper and mineral on the nose. Mostly cherry on the palate. Really long finish - the acid level is a tad high for the grape varietal. Perhaps not the best vintage. I'd recommend it with a hefty meal with beef. Not an amazing wine to drink by itself.
