Black currant, black cherry, red currant, black fig, and subtle notes of fresh sage and leather with just a hint of oaky vanilla and toast. Exquisite balance. Coombsville is a relatively cool area for Napa (near Yountville) and that lends the wine a bracing acidity that puts the mineral notes in sharp relief. Just a lovely wine and already very drinkable.
