This is in its final year or two but it is delicious. Better with air, the palate is full of black cherry, cassis, stewed plum, with exceptional oak integration. I can’t imagine paying $80 a bottle, but I found this for $19.25 and it WAY over delivered at that insane price point.

Wow! Everything about this was pretty darn close to perfect! Perfect drinking age too. One of my all time favorites!

Black cherry and tobacco on the nose and front end of the mouth. Tinge of leather and pop of vanilla at the tail end of the medium finish. Enjoyed on a quiet evening in front of the fire with a good book. Thanks, all, for good wine postings and brief texting over the year!

Drank this last night with friends and everyone loved it - even the two that usually aren't big red fans. It was great along side a filet! Beautiful dark color, great nose, very smooth, mellow as far as tannins and acid go. Very good and ready to drink. I'd buy more!
