Plum, soft blackberry, well rounded spice, drinking wonderfully, still has a few more years!

Yes! This again. Heavily oaked Pinot but so beautiful on the pallet with ripe fruit and fresh acidity plus the hefty feel. Cheers again.

This is a really good Pinot Noir: ready to pop ‘n pour and the age on the bottle is quite perfect. Nice burgundy color with medium plus density (not so translucent). On the nose there are immediate scents of cherry and damp forest. The mouthfeel is delicately elegant with soft cherry, light tartness, and clean wet earthy savoriness. Medium plus body, medium acidity, very smooth with round tannings, and a long finish.

Double decant 1 hour. Color — brilliant garnet red! An aroma of dark cherry, vanilla and cedar strikes the nose with floating essence of floral and spices and a subtle barn yard funk lingering at the end. Taste— Honey-vanilla spice notes rest on the tip of the tongue leading to the dark cherry tart flavors on the mid-pallet giving it a juicy luscious feel in the mouth. The medium plus finish lingers with a cedar barnyard funk where you can still taste the presence of the tannins. Needs to age longer so the tannins and flavors are more integrated, but enjoying this Pinot on a rainy evening; definitely need here in CA!

Enjoying a warm summer evening at Bibas —Italian Restaurant with a nice bottle of Paul Hobbs Pinot. Medium to dark cherry purple color. Dark cherry spice with lingering mushroom, wet leaves and vanilla nose. Bursts of cherry cola fruit on the taste finishing with herbs, pepper, tobacco and slight vanilla raspberry short finish
