Leather, cherries, pepper, restrained oak and tannins on a long delicious finish. Plus Sharon likes it.

Nice, easy drinking Pinot. Started off thin and a bit dusty, but the fruit started to shine through after a 1 hour decant. No food pairing required - solid.

The nose is an amazing bowl of Mendocino cherries and black truffles. The palette produces a supple well balanced mouth feel. The Mendocino cherries continue mid palette. The only knock is the wine has an alcoholic finish. This wine makes you ask is it really a Pino Noir?
