Out of mag and shipped from the property was in fine shape. Really good.

Interesting that earlier comments from the Wine Press wondered if the tannins would ever soften. At 23 years of age I can report that they have. Notes of Blackberry, Liquorice, Dust and Dark Chocolate. Berries and chocolate on the palate with a slightly bitter finish. Fine persistent tannins. Will keep for a few more years yet.

1994 vintage. Drinking on the occasion of the latest release of Bin 389 the 2013. Made to be cellared. This had ground coffee aromas and liquorice. Developed flavours touch of cork taint but still quite drinkable. Tannins still there but softening. Drink last one soon.
