Masses of blue and purple fruits but somehow managed to retain a certain elegance despite the warm vintage and the Take No Prisoners style of this cuvée normally. Not particularly Cabernet in style but a marvellous drink nevertheless with decades of future ahead of it. Silky yet assertive tannins.

2008 vintage Boldly berry, stewed ripe dark berries own the nose, background vanilla and cedar can be found, but the berry blast holds center stage. Fruit still center court on palate, light and fine tannins, drinking well now. Aftertaste good but below expectation. Very forward wine, short on follow through - high encouragement, average delivery, good for a conversation.
