Bin 8 South Australia Cabernet Shiraz

Nose: medium plus alcohol, strong cab smell, leaves (eucalyptus?), mint

Taste: dry, medium plus alcohol, strong cab flavor, oak-rich, slightly sweet after taste,

Aromas of cocoa, berries, spice, and dried flowers. Lighter bodied than expected, with lots of tart cranberry, earth, tannins, and fairly high acid. Awkward structure, probably needs time.

Big velvety mouthfeel. Smoky and olive-y. Long finish. Medium tannins. Paired with beefy dishes, this wine is quite a bit-o-alright!

Outside by the fire. Smooth and silky. Delicious!

Good value and nice blend. Excellent back deck with friends on a late summer evening drinking wine.

Peppery and reminiscent of a Rioja I didn't get any plum or fruity notes.
