Portrait Eden Valley Dry Riesling

Beautiful kerosene and lime with a very dry, mineral finish.

So pale, flinty, focused and sharp; one might think of the Loire. Nope, good old Oz Riesling to set you right. Just perfect as an aperitif, while cooking and only 11%.

Bright clear lemon color. Crisp clean tastes of lemon lime herbs

Light kerosene on the nose. Saturated lime oil on the palate. Nice freshness throughout.

Someone wrote kerosine. I was thinking oil. Why@does reisling do this? No idea. Very gulpable at first, then it's time to move on. This is no schloss Johannesburg or closter eberbach.

Ripeness at about the Spatlese level but quite dry, no heat, and a lovely, rich and acidic finish. I always ask myself why I don't drink more dry Riesling. Answer: because sweet Riesling is even better.

Oily and pungent. Kerosene and green herbal notes. Good cut.

Clean dry flinty zesty crisp.. Worked well with spicy pork miso soup

Bone dry, all stone and grass. Tasted more like a Sauvignon Blanc than a Riesling
