Beautiful bottle, stored impeccably, whether it's worth the price you pay I'm not sure, but damn it's an amazing wine, so well balanced/smooth/elegant now. Outstanding.

Beautiful nose, entry and mid palate, the finish a bit frayed. This bottle still showed plenty of life.

Aug 23rd, 2013Yes. It’s the greatest wine I’ve had. Yes, I’ve had poor bottles of the 82. This one is showing well though. Length and complex with layer upon layer. Celebrate greatness !

Oct 1st, 2019Ethereal. Outstanding balance, body, length. Truly the greatest wine I've ever had. It's the pinnacle of a classic Bordeaux that has evolved into liquid perfection. The nose hits you with dried rose petals , leather, tobacco , black wet soil and dried cherries. The body is so full and complex with layer upon layer. It's become light bodied but in its youth it must have been a powerhouse . For me it was the the length. Quite long and full of wonderful notes and as it faded it just kept giving and giving So much to admire. Truly impressive I can not see a fault. Impeccably held and stored no doubt.
