Was feeling like something esoteric this evening and dug this out of my cellar. Still wound up tight. Seems to be good stuffing in there, but this is mostly showing structure, rustic tannins and oak at this stage. We’ll see what it shows day 2...

May 7th, 2018Also amphora aged, also amber color. Strong sweet peach nectar on nose but not sweet at all on palate. This also has a hint of soy sauce I mentioned for the first wine. But it's not a bad thing, just I can't find other expression. Anyway very clear and well balanced wine.
