Nov 29th, 2017Deep garnet red. Something was a little off on the nose to start but wore off. Finally opened up with a notes that were a bit earthy and dirty with some greenery. Very light fruit on the nose. Moderate tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Long finish. Rounded and tons of red and dark fruits on the palate. Layered with cinnamon and nutmeg too. Velvety smooth and well integrated with time. A lot better than on initial opening. Huge turn around and great start to 2017. Drink till 2030.

Feb 9th, 2014Open for business!
Dark fruit, Coffeebeans, dusty spice notes, toast, oak, smoke and vanilla, all balanced in a beautiful, hedonistic yet elegant and distinguished way.
Magnificant wine…

Still a bit tight but a wonderful wine. Amazing balance. Kirsch dominates the nose and blackberries and licorice are present on the mid palate. Tannins are very well integrated. Great exhibition of Spring Mountain fruit with balance.
