Interesting blend of Sangiovese and Montepulciano. Dark ruby color with a garnet rim. Aromas of dark fruit, wet soil tobacco and leather. Flavors of dried cherries and blueberries, espresso, spices and dark chocolate. Touch of vanilla and smoke on the medium finish. Chewy tannins and a very “rustic quality.” Medium bodied just a bit past its peak. Thanks for sharing, Chris B!
