It's a pleasant 2007 Toscana, a blend of Sangiovese cab and merlot. Deep ruby, edge began to change. It is plummy with many red fruit characters as well as licorice and leather. But it is also a bit annoying on the nose with hint of overripe fruit and detergent, the alcohol may be detected after this. Tannin is adequate yet soft, medium+ acidity and medium length. Good value at 136 yuan, around 18 US dollars. 83-84 points. Drink now and not to be cellared. Tasted in Beijing, 12 03
