We have this one paired with halibut, morels, calcots, butter braised turnips, and licorice root. There's a lot of variation within a case. 4 of every 12 bottles smell/taste like tidal pool in a bad way (stewed stagnant pond water). The other 8 are amazing! Like a tidal pool in a good way. Pure, clean, and fresh, like drinking the perfect stone you'd skip across a pond.

Dried lemon and white flowers, a hint of petrol, and surprisingly lively structure. Got a second bottle to see how it's progressed differently, and looking forward to it.

Jan 8th, 2017Aged beautifully. Rich and soft but with great acidity still. Deep notes of baking spice and vanilla cream with mineraly undertones lingering forever. A steal.

Sep 17th, 2016The cuisine at Coquine is amazingly creative, fresh and unique. The wine program is also well-done. Highly recommend it. This 18-year-old Aligotè chez Pierre Morey was a beautiful accompaniment to everything we enjoyed and was fresh as a daisy.
