Le Banc Saint-Aubin Chardonnay

Home and happy. Exactly what you want from PYCM. Reductive nose that leads into lemon rind and buttery goodness and white pepper. Amazing length, breadth and texture. man, the texture of these wines combined with the minerality backbone. And this is "entry level". Dude makes wine that makes you want to talk about and share them...well share them if you're nice. I could just drink these solo for days on end.

Always so outstanding for the price, beautiful reduction that I've always so enjoyed from PYCM.

The Stooges' "Raw Power"

Fuck this is good. Even better when you check the price. The fruit is so pure and bright, lots of definition. Electric mouthfeel that is broad with lots of focus and power.

2014. What a vintage for whites. Minerals, almost saline like acid. Hints of citrus and peach. Perfect weight. Such a beautiful wine.

Way less austere than 2013 with some fruit poking through all that minerality and grippy tannins. Had it with salmon and it worked in an opposites attract sort of way.

Like white steel.

Delectable.
