Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey
Le Banc Saint-Aubin Chardonnay
Impressive considering its modest tag. Never had a disappointing bottles from this producer. Meursault-like. Served blind, I chose the aforementioned appellation.

Dec 18th, 2018Needs just a little more time, but the freshness and St. Aubin terroir really shine through to me. Mineral, sake, lacy on the back end.

Apr 26th, 2018You can recognise top winemakers often by the quality of their more basic cuvees. Recently tried several St Aubins and the Pernand Vergelesses from PY Colin Morey and they were all tops. Also this Le Banc is crispy, long and it unmistakably has the hand of the master.
