Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey
Les Narvaux Meursault Chardonnay

Matchstick, citrus blossoms, white peach. Fresh and delicate aromas but opulent in the mouth. Delicious and drinking beautifully now with a decant

Dec 11th, 2017Opulent, fleshy, dare I say flabby? Still has all pf the characteristics of the PYCM style—slight reduction, great acidity (relatively) and great mouthfeel. This is borderline ‘old school’ Meursault. Probably due to the vintage?

This was good, but not as good as I remember. Not as much ginger and flintsmoke as I remember. Maybe a little closed down? Hope giving it a little time will help it return to its former glory.

Nov 2nd, 2018Not drinking now, really tight. Strong in its crushed rock minerality, which adds to the vibrant acidity. Medium weight yet very powerful, concentrated and long. Oatmeal, just ripe pears, honey and vanilla.

Clear color. Citrus, white peach, honeysuckle nose. Sweet citrus, bright acidity and oily mid palate, lingering smooth and clean finish. Good stuff.
