We haven’t had the reserve for some time. Our last experience fell short, but normal service has been restored.
Notes of charcoal and tobacco on the nose. Palate gives way to fleshy, mature but ripe black fruits. Delicate spice notes combine with soft brown sugar on the mid palate. Finishes with poise and grace. Tannins are tucked in. Drink now or hold, but this won’t go to a better place.

Looked like it was bottled yesterday. Still very dark in color. Let it open for a bit but still fairly tight. Long lifespan ahead of this wine

The nose was shy on opening, but it blossomed after an hour or so. Paired very well with steak.
