Best of the Le Ripi tasting (much better than the esteemed Bonsai IMHO). Not sure it is built for the longhaul but it is an incredibly balanced wine. Though maybe a bit overpriced for a Riserva from an under the radar producer.

Love me some Brunello and this one was amazing - so smooth, Dry but no overly dry.

Mind-blowingly good bottle. Rich and expressive but somehow clean on the palate; pure but not austere. Black cherry, leather, cocoa, maybe a whiff of cypress (though that could have been from outside). At a lunch of wows, this topped the list.
