Vigna Tecc Dolcetto di Dogliani Dolcetto

Baked cherries, almond paste, and candle wax. Very full bodied expression of Dolcetto and at 11 years from vintage showed very well despite the presence of tingly spritz. Would've rated a few points higher but I lost my oldest and favoritest corkscrew to the ornery and most evil cork that protected this wine through its life.
