Ponzi Vineyards
Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

Bright burgundy color. Ripe cherry and a bit of cola and sassafras on the nose. Follows with cherry, raspberry, red licorice and some earthy tones. Layered, but not very complex. The 'easy conversation after a long day' kind of wine vs. the 'life changing soul searching' one.

Much bolder and richer than prior vintages. Ripe black plums and dark cherries mixed with earth and minerals.

Decanted. Beautiful floral nose. Spices. Pomegranate. Quite tasty. Can use more time, but drinking well now.
