Napa County Cabernet Sauvignon

Wow. Non-believers of 2011 be damned. Lights out wine. Tough and gritty. Made awe and reflect on the hard work it took to make such a stellar wine that year. Another winner from Pride. Not surprised considering the pedigree.

Better the longer we let it sit. Still not as flavorful as we all would have preferred.

Aromas of vanilla and black fruit. Blackberry pie, anise, notes of sage and a bit of graphite. Lush vanilla finish. Really nice

Huge cab. Winery is one of few that sits in both Napa and Sonoma counties.
