Seamless. Velvety smooth black fruit and camphor-laden frame. Subtle pipe tobacco and Chinese tea. Its best self at this point, but with the bones to go on. 3-5 years to go, at least.

Holy underwear Batman! This wine is epic. 2001 and it still pours inky purple in color. This is still a full bodied wine but so lush with vanilla,, graphite, hint of minerals and licorice. The fruit is so vibrant though all of it. I am in the search for more bottles.

Jul 8th, 2018Doubt I shall ever see a cab as beautiful as thee.. ok a bit if a stretch but this is outstanding. Still inky purple and tasting very young. Let it decant 2 hours and it was on point. You love Napa cab you will love this. I wish I had more this bottle has another 10-15 years easy. Excellent!
