Pride Mountain Vineyards
Sonoma County Syrah

Interestingly enough, as my tastes and tendencies have shifted from new world to old world wines, Pride has remained a core part of my staple purchases. This wine is a testimonial for that decision. It has Euro sensibilities, like a teenage St Joseph. Fairly lush dark fruit, violet/purple floral notes, infused with a minerality and depth of finish that belies and contradicts the reviews it had upon release. And with grilled ribeye and cauliflower mash...fantastic! #stayathomeandwine
