Another solid vintage. Blend of Alfrocheiro (40%), Touriga National (30%) and Tinta Roriz (30%). Dark ruby color. Aromas of ripe black fruit, violets and subtle spice. Flavors of black cherry/raspberry/currant/plum fruit, dried herbs and sweet baking spices. Slight touch of oak on the long finish. Noticeable acidity and very smooth tannins. Fresh and well balanced. Plush structure. Excellent value. Wonderfully consistent vintage to vintage. Thank you for saving me a glass, Chris B!
