Dark purple colour with gentle mossy cassis nose. Smooth texture and whilst a pleasant berry taste (with a hint of vanilla) it is a little lightweight versus expectations. A surprising amount of sediment. Certainly not a "wow" wine but for a modestly priced M&S purchase it does the job.

Aug 12th, 2015Nice, not amazing but a good M&S example. Sweet aftertaste and you can taste the vanilla. We had it with lamb steaks but maybe with a beef fillet or cheese it might have been better.
