A good example of tca not ruining a wine. A little wet cardboard on top of dense raspberry/blackberry fruit. Good intergration of oak and some nice dark chocolate and spicy herbs. I will try again. Hopefully no more tca in the next.

Pairing it up with some Moroccan lamb with tomato and eggplant. Spicy, black fruits on the palate with some olive and bitter herbal accents. Should be a nice foil for the tagine.

Intense extraction, but in the best way. Dark, dense, and extremely perfumed. Dark decaying fruit alongside tobacco and violets. Acidity med -, full body, viscous and lingering finish. Really takes you to the scorched valley of Douro. Good stuff.
