Inky red in color. Cedar, licorice, raspberry, cinnamon, clove and mulled spices with a hint of pencil lead. Mineral and acid finish with moderate plus tannins. Lovely and powerful wine that is a little tightly wound. I'm guessing it will mellow with time.
