Ageing at a glacial pace, this is still remarkably youthful, providing stunning aromatics and slatey additions. The complex and layered palate is dense and still backward with tight yet sweet and grainy tannins creating balance thanks to a mineral core, great minerality and brilliant clarity of fruit. 2011 is more obvious but 2010 gets my vote as one of QDVM's most refined wines ever

Bright dark rubi robe, beautiful nose of black fruits and flowers, long and tannic mouth, very polished but in need of 7 to 10 years to show its full potential. Rated on the lower end, has lots of upside potential.
