Illumination Sauvignon Blanc

Sublime. One of the best New World Sauvignon Blancs I’ve had.

The wine was clear, clean and had a bright sunshine yellow color. Aromas of green fruit and citrus were noted along with some floral edges. The wine is a blend of 49% Sauvignon Blanc Musqué, 36% Sauvignon Blanc, 15% Semillon; 67% of the grapes came from Napa and 33% from Sonoma. The palate showed sweet ripe grapefruits, fleshy apple and some lemony nuances. The finish was better than medium, showing some spice and a touch of earthy minerals. Outstanding!

13' illumination SB(Quintessa).Two thirds NAPA one third Sonama. Great balance! Back to back good bottles of wine with the 12 & 13' vintage. Can't miss!

Citrus lime. M+ acid. Long lingering finish. Crisp and clean.

This was good... Like really good... It has been a while since a Sauv Blanc stopped me in my tracks.

Definitely not the style of SB I gravitate towards. It's a good wine and if I had a qualm it is only that for my palate it comes across manipulated and clumsy.

Ripe fruit, balancing acidity. Just a good glass of wine.

Crisp smooth with some complexity. Excellent Sauvignon Blanc

Lemon and citrus. A lot of minerality like a Sancerre. Complex for Sauv Blanc.

Great sav blanc. Complex. Carneros like.
