An unexpected treat to try this CA Grenache with a few years on it. Was not expecting the expression this wine garnered. Still bringing a great deal of floral notes (shifting to dried flowers & herbs with age) but the acidity is there to provide lift to the darker fruits this wine is beginning to show. Caught in a fun position, it truly evoked the duality of tasting the properties of 'light & darkness'. Sleeper pick.

A great single vineyard from one of the great central coast producers. Ripe red fruit, some glycerol, wood tannin, some spice, decent acidity.

I was fairly unimpressed by this Grenache from veteran wine SBC Bob Lindquist but over time it grew on me and started reveling itself. It is very good, in a subtle style, bright acidity great aromas on the nose and a silky earthy texture. Lovely nose.
