Reddish tawny, translucent. Subtle nose, notes of warm dark berries, dried brush and herbs, cranberries, some sweetness that includes brown sugar, and a little medicinal thing. Nicely balanced in the mouth. Fading fruit and tannins resolved. A nice wine but it's best days are probably behind it. Drink up.
