Pretty tannic when you open the bottle. As I said in my review three years ago, this still requires several hours of decanting, but this is an elegant wine. Boysenberries, currants, plums, and a hint of cacao. Enjoy.

Needed to decant for nine hours before serving. Turned from tannic to lovely, but I think this wine still needs a few more years in the cellar before it comes into its own. Love Rarecat wines and this will be a great one, but not quite yet.
