The Rasmussen '03 estate Syrah is an overwhelming blend of old worn leather, smoked meat, beef jerky, muddled and stewed black plum, currant and raisin. The tannins still hold, but release into silty dry earth and hot baked days of wilted black fruits. Delicious.
