Vintners Blend California Old Vine Zinfandel

Very good selection, in the Under $10 range ($5.97 at Total Wines)

Having been to the Ravenswood winery, and trying a good portion of the portfolio, grabbing this was a no-brainer. Decanted for an hour, good fruit in the Boysenberry range (Blackberry x Raspberry, Loganberry being a similar hybrid), nice spicey character. Would purchase again in the price range.

Ravenswood has a nice portfolio, and I hope after this Pandemic period, Gina Gallo opens the doors to the tasting room once again.

Very small in flavor but drinkable. Not bold at all. If you love a big Zin like I do, i recommend you avoid. If you want something subtle, you may like this.

Not a bad zinfandel. Was easy drinking but some complexity to keep it interesting. Great paired with dinner or on its own.

Remember that on time we were curious what Ravenswood tasted like today? I base my score on wine in General. Probably would rate a lol higher if I factored in the fact it was on sale for $4 .

Great value. Jammy with undertones of smokiness. Goes well with winter stews and summer grilling

Fruktig, något kryddig. Funkar bra med köttbullar med rödbetor, stekt lök och potatismos. Väl matchande sötma.
