Undrinkable. Had to pour 1/2 of it out. Just tasted like bad grape juice with no aromas or discernible flavors. This bottle might have been stored badly on a supermarket (Vons) shelf. Will eventually try it again because I used to like this back in college.

A bold Zin that takes your palette on adventure from sweetness to sourness and a pleasant residual bitterness. Very strong on the nose with black pepper and leather, eucalyptus? Subdues the dried fruit aroma. Medium + body with a long finish. Pair with bold dishes like peppered steak, wasabi-glazed tuna, cabbage.
