Interesting Bennett valley fruit here, with a little iron, soil, blood, sauvage quality that drenches the deep red and purple fruits. Some other dried flowers and foliage also present.

2010 Red Car cuvée 22 Syrah full of plum and spices silky smooth palate and smoky sticky finish. Needs Brisket. :)

Still drinking beautifully at 11 years old. Enormous value.

Red Car always makes enjoyable, balanced wines. This is no different. 10 years on and show no sign of deterioration. While it may not improve from here it’s extremely enjoyable right now.

Andersen has gone Syrah crazy. Old school red car. That blood, oiled leather and somehow white pepper.

Red Car does Syrah well. Enjoying poolside in Hilton Head. Wonderful deep black and blue fruit, nice black pepper with perfect acidity. Definitely not a fruit bomb
