Estate Bottled Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon

Second bottle....it is Friday after all.

On the nose, cherry cough syrup, dark cherries, poached strawberries, blackberries, slightly chard milk chocolate, soft, understated baking spices & dark floral bouquet. Bright, ripe; dark cherries, strawberry preserves, blackberries, creamy black raspberries/raspberries. Creamy liquid violets, dark floral bouquet, chard milk chocolate, mocha powder, cinnamon stick, nutmeg, vanilla, dry loamy soils, tree bark, muddy, thick, soft, tannins, touch of cherry cough syrup, mint, eucalyptus, suede leather, dry stems, brewed coffee with ground, rich finish with decent acidity. Photos of the estate vines viewed from the winery in peak fall colors, outside tasting area, winery building and wines dogs. 🐶

Muted dark fruits. black plum, blackberries, dark cherries, dark creamed raspberries, cinnamon, touch of nutmeg, dark silky minerals and earth. Finish is even but lacking a little in full finish. Doesn't seem to shine like the bottle from my storage as this bottle seems more advanced.

Throwing a lot of sediment, but absolutely delightful cab.

Wow. Really enjoyed this one. Big, bold cab with big fruit and nice tannins.
