Aug 27th, 2017I've hit the last 4 out of 5 weekly wine committees and it has been a treat every time. This week, @Jeff Meyer hosted and schooled everyone on how good German wines can be!
The entire room thought this was french champagne. Ended up being a German sparkler! Lots of yeast and tart fruit/green apple to it, with a very crisp finish. Extremely balanced. 100% case worthy.

Wine dinner 6/10/17. Acidic and biting on palete with white floral notes on nose and long finish. Great with the grilled squid and vegetable mix. Surprise! Corked the remaining one third bottle for three days and it still tasted great. Some bubbles left but dissipated quickly once poured. Left one quarter in full shall bottle for another day and the slightly fizzy varietal character is still strong and went well with dinner.
