Les Rouliers Vin de France Chenin Blanc

Very good. I always prefer the Rouliers to the Noels. This needs a little bit of time to open and even over a day it stays a little thin on the mid palate. It didn't bother me that much as I love the minerality and touch of spiced pear/apple/lemon. Probably needs to wait a year or two even if I believe this is not a bottle for the long term.

This guy makes a truly unique expression of chenin, but this one has that slightly burnt type of oxidation, that I'll never learn to enjoy. But there is some good stuff going on too.
