Very good wine, but perhaps on the downhill already. The fruit just couldn’t outlive the oak, which I find somewhat overbearing. Slightly oxidative, but with juicy texture and tannins still kicking.

3rd night's the charm. First night nose was KERPOW! But sweet and syrupy. Took some time to balance. Needs a few years before I'll open another. Second bottle 1 year later March 28 2019. Consistent. But that molasses upfront is starting to integrate a bit better. ... a few more years til the next one.
