Starts out with herbs and earth, which then gives way to plummy fruit. This seems to have more of Russian River in its DNA than zinfandel, which makes quite unique. As much as I love ridge zins, I liked the fact that this did not taste like one!

Quite nice. Medium bodied, sporting red and black fruits paired with a zesty, piquant note that reminds me of tomatillos. Tasty on its own but even better with food.
